Dr. Solomon Ihidero is a seasoned Corporate Services Executive with over 30 years of experience leading integrated business support functions across utility and complex corporate environments in Nigeria and the United States. He is a scholar-practitioner known for his versatility, strategic depth, and consistent ability to add value in demanding leadership roles.
During his distinguished career with Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC), Dr. Ihidero held key executive leadership positions, first serving as Acting General Manager before his appointment as Head of Human Resource Management, where he provided strategic leadership for one of Nigeria’s largest electricity distribution companies. In these roles, he led large-scale organisational and operational transformation initiatives, including oversight of workforce operations exceeding 4,000 employees, while driving enterprise-wide human capital strategies, organisational development, and business performance improvement.
His experience spans enterprise transformation, stakeholder engagement frameworks, business continuity planning, digital transformation initiatives, and the implementation of systems that streamline administrative processes, strengthen governance, and improve organisational efficiency.
Dr. Ihidero holds a Doctor of Management degree from the University of Maryland University College (USA), dual Master’s degrees in Business Administration (MBA) and Public Administration (MPA – Policy Analysis & Administration) from the University of Baltimore (USA), and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science.
He is a Fellow of several professional bodies, including the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM), the Chartered Institute of Administration (CIA), the Nigerian Institute of Training & Development (NITAD), the Institute of Management Consultants (IMC), and the Occupational Safety & Health Association (OSHA-UK). He is a Licensed Human Resource, Learning, Training, and Development Professional/Practitioner and holds multiple international certifications, including Certified KPI Professional (Melbourne, Australia), Certified Balanced Scorecard Professional (George Washington University, Washington, DC, USA), Certified Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Generative AI Professional (Texas, USA), and Certified Emotional Intelligence Life Coach (Transformation Academy, Florida, USA).
