NESCO remains committed to sustainable development and the improvement of the quality of life within its host and neighbouring communities. The Company’s CSR initiatives are designed to promote social inclusion, infrastructural development, and community welfare.
As part of its community-focused interventions, the Company has undertaken the renovation and electrification of the residence of the Gwom Rie of Gashish, a key traditional institution within one of its areas of operation, thereby reinforcing its respect for and partnership with local leadership structures.
In recognition of the socio-economic realities of its host communities, the Company has also implemented Band B and C tariff structures, notwithstanding the availability of Band A classification, in order to ensure affordability and equitable access to electricity for its consumers.
Furthermore, NESCO has contributed to local infrastructure development through the construction of bridges and rehabilitation of access roads within its areas of operation, thereby improving connectivity, enhancing mobility, and supporting local economic activities.
